50 Cent was chosen to throw the first pitch at yesterday’s Mets vs. Pirates game, and it wasn’t pretty. His first pitch has been trending all day on Instagram and the rapper is getting a lot of heat for his embarrassing throw. Memes have been made; photoshop has been used and people are getting a kick out of it. I mean I don’t blame people for calling him out. 2014 FIFA World Cup Is Almost Here!

Get pumped, the 2014 FIFA World Cup is coming up in about 2 weeks! It officially begins on Thursday June 12th, 2014 and ends on Sunday July 13th, 2014. To kick off the highly anticipated event, Colombian pop sensation Shakira, released a video for her Brazil 2014 World Cup Anthem. To make things even better, her video features many soccer players, including her very own partner Gerard Pique. Other Barcelona players in the video include Cesc Fabregas, Eric Abidal, Neymar, and Lionel Messi. Even Shakira’s own son, Milan, made an appearance in her music video as well. The song titled “La La La (Brazil 2014)” is not the official 2014 FIFA World Cup song, but has been a big hit since it’s release just a few days ago. Read More >>
Celebrate Fleet Week With Pourhouse!

Fleet Week has returned after a 1-year hiatus due to last year’s cancellation! It officially started on Wednesday May 21, 2014 and will run through Tuesday May 27, 2014. To kick off the event, two Coast Guard cutters and three Navy ships arrived at New York Harbor Wednesday morning. This event typically costs the Navy several millions of dollars for fuel, hotel rooms, security, transportation of large ships and aircrafts, and fees. However, spokeswoman for the Navy’s mid-Atlantic region Beth Baker, has said “we’re just thrilled to be back even though we have a smaller number of ships.” Read More >>
